One of Lauren Daigle's career highlights was trying out for American Idol seasons in 2010 and 2012. Though she hasn't really made it past Hollywood rounds, Lauren Daigle's music career path has gone beyond Hollywood and America; she has illuminated some far reaches of the world with her heavenly voice and songs that have inspired a multitude.
In 2015, the release her debut album, "How Can It Be", zoomed to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart, has been certified Platinum by the RIAA and produced three No. 1 singles on the Billboard Christian Airplay chart ("First", "Trust in You," and "O'Lord"). Her 2018 release "Look Up Child", debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart, becoming the highest-charting Christian album by a woman in over 20 years, and No. 1 on the Top Christian Albums chart. The pop crossover success of its single "You Say", has broken the record for the number of weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Christian Songs chart at 66 weeks for any solo artist. With that, she scooped-up two Grammy Awards along the way, which adds to her collection of seven GMA Dove Awards, five Billboard Music Awards, two American Music Awards.
“It has been one of the sweetest experiences", says Daigle in a press interview. "Honestly, as an artist, I think every day that you wake up and hear that your songs have had an impact on someone, or your songs have changed someone’s life for the better, there’s genuinely nothing that can top that,” she adds.
With her "Look Up Child World Tour" in full swing, Daigle is definitely in high spirits with the success of this tour. “This year has been life changing…There’s no better feeling than to be able to look out from the stage and see how people have connected with the songs on this album.
